The Surf House is located in Baleal, a charming coastal village just 5 km from Peniche. The sandy beaches and stunning seafloors of Baleal and Peniche provide optimal surf conditions practically every day. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced surfer, you’ll find a beach with the perfect conditions to ride the waves. Peniche is renowned for the quality and consistency of its waves, hosting a permanent event of the Rip Curl Pro Portugal, part of the ASP World Championship Tour. In the vicinity of the Surf House, you’ll find a variety of amenities such as bars, restaurants, surf shops, and a supermarket.

Peniche, situated along the western coast, is a destination that also encompasses several villages, beaches, and islands of extraordinary natural beauty. The magnificent beaches of Cova de Alfarroba, Gambôa, Lagido, Supertubos, Consolação, and Molhe Leste are among the most renowned. In addition to the beaches, Peniche boasts a rich historical heritage with numerous churches, the Fort of Peniche, and the striking Cabo Carvoeiro lighthouse. A visit to the Berlengas Islands, a nature reserve archipelago abundant in marine life, is a must.

During your stay in Peniche, you can also explore other attractions like the Sportagua water park, the Peniche wall, and the Furninha cave. The local cuisine offers delicious seafood dishes, with the famous Caldeirada standing out, reflecting the region’s fishing tradition.

You can customize the duration of surfcamp in Peniche upon request, either to extend or shorten the program.

TRIP TYPE: Surf trip with accomodation in a surf house, with daily surf lessons and equipment rental included.

SUITABLE TO: Beginners or experienced surfers. The only prerequisite is being able to swim and having good confidence in the water.
